The Open Water Course takes you from beginner to Open Water Diver in five easy stages. You will be taken through the stages by one of our team of experienced instructors at your own pace giving you an opportunity to learn in a unique quality environment backed by quality training. The Course starts as soon as you pop in and collect your Crew Pack – this gives you the chance to meet us and ask questions.
Some questions that you should ask your instructor: (link) Your Crew Pack contains all you will need to complete the theory stage of the course including: A Student record file: which you must complete with us when you enrol on the course. Course Workbook: This consists of five chapters. At the end of each chapter there is a knowledge review. All five must be completed before commencement of the course as you will not be allowed in the water until we have them. This is ‘your’ homework! Please bring these with you on the first day of your course.Dive Tables & Booklet: Please read the booklet from start to finish. This fully explains how the dive tables work. Don’t worry if they still don’t make sense as we will cover them in the classroom.
Typically your course consists of:-
Classroom Sessions. We will review the five chapters you completed at home and ensure you are happy with the content. There are some multiple choice quizzes to complete and a chance to discuss any areas more fully if you wish. Confined Water Sessions. There are skills from each of the five chapters of the open water manual to complete in confined water with time to practice and hone the skills you have learned and have some fun. Due to the fact we have our own confined area, we have the luxury of being able to take the time you need to ensure that you become confident to safely move on to your open water dives. Open Water Dives. This is your chance to put all the skills you have perfected in confined water into practice with your instructor with us here in our lake. This stage is run over two days consisting of two dives a day. As we have our own lake, we can be flexible on the time it takes to complete these dives to ensure that you become a safe and confident diver.

The PADI Open Water course is yours for £375 and includes all your course costs, all your equipment hire and dive centre entry fees. The price we quote is the price you pay - there are no hidden extras.
If you would prefer to complete your Open Water Course on a one to one basis with your Instructor, the course would be £499.
Do you have some friends who also want to do the Open Water Course? Get a group of four or more friends together and as long as you all do the course at the same times and dates, the price will be £375 per person.
