Open Water - £325 (all inclusive)

The Open Water Course can take you from beginner to Open Water Diver in four days without cutting any corners. You will be taught by one of our team of experienced instructors and will be led through each stage at your own pace giving you an opportunity to learn in a quality environment backed by quality training. The Course starts as soon as you receive your Crew Pack.

The Crew Pack contains all you will need to complete the theory portion of the course including:

A Student record file:  which you must complete and bring with you on the first day of the course.  More importantly all questions in the medical section must be answered ‘no’.  If there is a ‘yes’ – don’t panic – contact us immediately and we will give you another form to take to your General Practitioner.

Course Workbook:  This consists of five chapters.  At the end of each chapter there is a knowledge review.  All five must be completed before commencement of the course.  Please bring these with you on the first day of the course.

Dive Tables & Booklet:  Please read the booklet from start to finish.  This fully explains how the dive tables work.  Don’t worry if they still don’t make sense as we will cover them in our theory session.

DVD: This also is broken into five chapters.  Please watch this in its entirety as it is compliments the workbook.  However, this is the only item we would request you give back to us as it has no value to you at the end of the course.

Typically your course consists of:-

Theory Sessions. We will review the five chapters you completed at home and ensure you are happy with the content. There are some multiple choice quizzes to complete and a chance to discuss any areas more fully if you wish.

Pool Sessions.  There are skills from each of the five chapters of the open water manual to complete in the pool with time to practice and hone the skills you have learned and have some fun.

Open Water Dives.  This is your chance to put all the skills you have perfected in the pool into practice with your instructor in our purpose built diving lake.  This section is run over two days consisting of two dives a day lasting approx 20-30 minutes each. 

The PADI Open Water course is yours for £325 and includes all your course costs, all your equipment hire and dive centre entry fees. The price we quote is the price you pay - no hidden extras.

If you would prefer to complete the Open Water Course on a one to one basis with your Instructor, the course would be £450.

Do you have some friends who also want to do the Open Water Course? Get a group of four or more friends together and as long as you all do the course at the same times and dates, the price will be £299 per person.
