The solo diver course will teach you how to safely dive independently of the buddy system. You will learn dive planning, personal limitations and the benefits, hazards and procedures required for solo diving. This is the perfect course for photographers, videographers, those enjoy peace and quiet or have no friends!!

Everything looks different in the beam of your torch and new life begins to emerge.
This course takes place at Wraysbury Dive Centre where you may have the opportunity to have the large but friendly pike hunt by your torch light, view the numerous crayfish or witness the multitude of perch sleeping on the lake floor. All these unique occurences are only possible in the twilight hours which you will discover over the three dives you will complete with us.

In addition to the usual scuba diving equipment you use, you will be introduced to using dive torches.
To take part in this course you will need to be a PADI Open Water diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or hold an equivalent qualification from another training organisation) and be at least 12 years old.

The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 to a depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives hat do not require staged decompression. Often taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures course, this can be considered the foundation of your technical diving career. Advanced Nitrox is also a great course for those wanting to extend their bottom times in shallower depths such as scientific diver, and a must for SCR or CCR divers. The course cover topics like

Using a dry suits can make your diving more comfortable and extend your dive season, you can stand up to the elements and take advantage of the generally better visibility offered by winter months, especially at inland dive sites such as ours.
This 2 dive course will teach you the proper techniques in using a dry suit, as well as day-to-day maintenance and care.
The course costs £115 if you own a dry suit and £140 if you use a school suit, all prices are inclusive of kit, learning materials, certification and entrance fees.
